From concept to edit delivery, I set out to create an authentic, inspirational video which South African based, Into The Blue, have used to promote their diving services on their website, in their shop, and across all social media channels. I wanted the initial sequence to be very fast paced, building the tension through sound design and quick cuts, which would then lead into an etherial exploration bringing Cape Town’s underwater world to life. Cape Town has vast kelp forests which are teeming with life, from which you can see cape fur seal colonies, gas flamed nudibranches, pyjama sharks and much more if you brave the 8 degree waters.
